I'd Never be a Nazi

I'd Never be a Nazi

'Cos me I am not evil
I just want to live in peace
        And always protect people

        I could not be brainwashed
No matter how scared I get
Though the way the world is going, man
        There's not much to protect
What Grandad built with his bear hands
        There's almost nothing left
        They're coming for our culture
        They want us to forget

I'd watch out for these immigrants
They're planning something big, I bet

You watch, they'll show up in our schools
        Get in your children's head
But I'd never be a Nazi
No, I just want what's best

I used to volunteer at the food bank
And my God, what a mess
        They're handing out these meals
To the scum - aren't we in debt?

It's you and me, the taxpayer
        We're their safety net
And I was listening to this podcast
Did you get the link I sent?

This guy man, he just gets it
He says we should take the power back
If we cared about our wives and kids
        We'd prepare for their attack

So I volunteered at the detainment centre
        Just tryna do my bit
'Cos I look into my daughter's eyes
And she's got so much life to live

I just want her to be safe
Have all the freedom that we did
And God, if we don't stop this hate
Ahh man, it makes me sick

So I'm happy to be here
        This is my second shift
I'll help you round them up
        After I finish this cig

And there isn't that much to it
Just watch out for the kids
        Sometimes the handcuffs slip
'Cos they're too big for their wrists

But eventually they'll fall in line
        And that's the strangest thing
If you break 'em down hard enough
        They'll walk themselves right in

And when you shut the chamber door
        Sometimes they start to sing
Or pray to their demonic God
You know, that kind of thing

And some of our lads are throwing up
But trying their best to hide it
        The embarrassment of being weak
No good man can survive it

But I got home from my daughter
        And God, sometimes she's stupid
I said 'Love I'd never be a Nazi'
And she said 'Fucking prove it'
